This privacy policy explains when and why we collect personal information about people who visit this website and those who become clients and customers, how we use it and how we keep it secure.

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about services, if you register to receive a free consultation.
The personal information we collect might include your name, email address, IP address, phone number, what you may be seeking some help with. Plus information regarding what website pages are accessed and when.

- To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;
- Seek your feedback and views on our services

We will hold your personal information securely on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity. Or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us. Or, as long as is required by clinical insurance purposes.
By entering a contract for services with us, you may also be providing what is known as ‘sensitive data’ which can include employment information, family information, mental health and sexual information. Health-Success will not collect or retain excessive or unnecessary amounts of data; will protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and commits to ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect your personal data. This data will be retained in accordance with the governing bodies and insurance requirements which is a minimum of 7 years after which time it will be securely destroyed.
Our emails are encrypted. We urge you to consider your email host encryption and security before emailing information to us. For the purpose of this data security, we supply an electronic link to a secure online ‘in-take form’. This is to ensure the information you provide is password protected, cannot be viewed by anyone other than the recipient therapist.
Your data or client data will never be passed to a third party without the your’s or a client’s express consent, always provided that such confidentiality is neither inconsistent with the therapist’s own safety or that of the client, the client’s family members or other members of the public, nor in contravention of any legal action or legal requirement.
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever!
We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all of our business and assets to any third party or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.
Your choices
If you don’t want to receive direct marketing communications from us then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which we collect your information or contact us.
We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email unless you have given your prior consent. You can change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us by email: diane@health-success.co.uk.
We urge you to consider your email host encryption and security before emailling information especially sensitive data outside of the in-take form. We use technologies that we consider to be compliant with the data protection laws at the time.
You have the right to request data we hold about you which will be transferred to you in a secure way which we are obligated to provide within 30 days of that written request to diane@health-success.co.uk (known as the right to data portability).
You have the right to alter this data if it contains inaccuracies.
You have a right to dispute the accuracy or processing of your personal data and to request a restriction is placed on further processing;
You also have the ‘right to be forgotten’. Because of the nature of the services, only information supporting clinical insurance purposes and for accounting purposes will be retained. All other data will be destroyed.
You have a right to withdraw consent to us processing your data at any time [in accordance with legitimate restrictions set out by the GDPR].
Occasionally, data will be sufficiently anonymised for research purposes, containing no identifiable information to be utilised for tuition or instruction of staff or students, or for supervision . Should a client indicate that their data should not be used for these purposes, we would refrain from using that data.

We may use cookies as it helps us to improve our website and deliver a better more personalised service. You can switch off cookies by setting your browser preferences. You will also be alerted about them clearly.
Transferring your information outside of Europe
As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the UK. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing. Website recording
We use Google analytics to review statistical information about our website visitors. In addition, our web site may occasionally use a web site recording service (not currently in use as of April 2018). This service can record mouse clicks, mouse movements, page scrolling and any text keyed into website forms. Data collected in this way is for Health-Success’s internal use only and the information collected is used to improve our website usability.
Contact forms
When you choose to book a free consultation appointment with Health-Success, data is requested in order to carry out communication with the user. This includes name, email address and phone number and preferred location of face-to-face service work. This information allows us to contact you accurately and at the time you book. Location detail helps us accurately give you availability should you with to book a face-to-face appointment.
The data is stored on a third party site called Calendly.com embedded into our site or issued as a link via email with you. The Calendly privacy policy is here: https://calendly.com/pages/privacy
On booking you also have access to the information you provide which will be emailed to the email address you provided. Within the email and the calendar appointment you can reschedule or cancel at any time. Data taken on Calendly is not sold or used for any other purpose other than booking appointments and carrying out this service. This information is deleted after a small period of time where referral to the booking is no longer necessary or supportive of record taking.
Comments
Website comments: When visitors leave comments on the site i.e. blogs, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Downloads
Downloads are hosted by third party sites for embedding the content into our website. digital downloads are hosted on Bamazoo, a third party website where you can purchase the digital media.

“Digital Goods” are delivered to the “Customer” by a choice of methods:-
- via download to the “Customer”‘s personal desktop computer
- via download to the “Customer”‘s personal mobile device, either directly or using our optional free iOS download app if using an Apple device
- via transfer to the “Customer”‘s Dropbox account
- In the process of purchasing “Digital Goods” from “bamazoo®” the “Customer” email address will be subscribed to the “bamazoo®” general email list. “bamazoo®” also passes on the “Customer” email address to its “Author”‘s own email lists if they have asked “bamazoo®” to do this on their behalf. Both subscriptions are opt-in meaning the “Customer” will receive an opt-in email after the sale asking them to opt-in to receive future promotional emails. “bamazoo®” also use the “Customer” email address to issue a one time ‘Order Receipt’ email to upon receipt of a successful order.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. We choose their services that have compliance with the most up to date date protection law.
